The UnidosUS Annual Conference 2025, the nation’s largest Latino civil rights and advocacy event, brought together leaders, advocates, and changemakers to address pressing challenges and celebrate the progress shaping the future of Latino prosperity. Hosted in Kansas City, the conference featured keynotes, panels, and interactive sessions designed to inspire action and amplify the voices driving change across the Latino community.
Sweetwater Film & Entertainment, in partnership with Creative Technology, supported the General Session Ballroom and the Plenary Sessions with seamless video, audio, and lighting production. From the nearly 60’ wide LED wall built from lightweight ROE panels to cameras for projection IMAG and recording, Barco E2s for screen control, and disguise server playback systems, every element was engineered for clarity, reliability, and impact. Fiber and cabling packages ensured smooth signal distribution, while multiple monitors kept producers and talent coordinated throughout the event.
Audio was equally comprehensive, with L-Acoustics mains, delays, fills, foldbacks, and subwoofers managed through Yamaha CL5 consoles and Dante networking. Every word and performance were captured with crystal-clear fidelity, while our integrated communication systems ensured the crew stayed perfectly in sync throughout the production.
Lighting transformed every space, using advanced console control and versatile fixtures to shape mood, depth, and immersive visual impact.
Projection IMAG displays reinforced presentations with Panasonic PT-RQ35KU laser projectors on two screens, backed by fiber and power distribution packages.
A coordinated team effort
Delivering a conference of this scale required seamless coordination across every department. Sweetwater’s team managed audiovisual project oversight while integrating LED, video, and lighting systems alongside camera operation, projection, audio, graphics, playback, and rigging — ensuring all technical elements worked in perfect harmony. Scenic elements, including lecterns with built-in monitors, drape packages, and pipe-and-base structures, completed a professional and immersive environment.
